1st place winner is Emily Kershaw, a 2006 graduate of Olympic High School. Emily has been performing at CSTOCK since she was 9 years old. Her more recent performances onstage include Les Miserables School Edition and Children of Eden. Emily also plays trumpet in the pit of many CSTOCK productions and works behind the scenes in the light booth.
2nd place winner Andrew Pohl, a 2006 graduate of Bremerton High School. Andrew has been in several CSTOCK productions including Les Miserables School Edition and Music Man Junior.
Winners of the Ray Abundis technical/dance/music scholarship are required to have either performed in the pit orchestra, worked behind the scenes or have been a dancer onstage. This year’s winner is Carey Batschi, a 2006 graduate of Central Kitsap High School. Carey performed as the ‘fiddler’ in Fiddler on the Roof, and was seen onstage in Man of La Mancha and Oliver.
