The Silverdale branch of Target Stores awarded $2000 to CSTOCK to continue
their support of the annual summer children's workshops in 2001. Board
President Judy Jenniges received the check at a presentation ceremony
marking the opening of holiday shopping at the store, along with four other
local nonprofit organizations, as part of the corporate community
contribution program.

Also receiving awards were five area high schools who benefited from
Target's "Take Charge of Education" or TICE program which donates 1 percent
of purchases charged to Target credit cards at the Silverdale store from
January through October to the local school designated by the purchaser.
This is the fifth year of Target support for CSTOCK and brings the
cumulative total of donations to $17,500 in support of youth in the
performing arts here in Silverdale.
