About Charles Platten

Charles teaches Chorus, Yearbook, Digitools and Unified Arts (Music) at Central Kitsap Junior High School. His choirs consistently earn top honours each year at choral competition and he has been nominated several times over the years for the Golden Acorn award having won the award once. He has been the vocal director for the CSTOCK productions of "Meet Me In St. Louis," "The King and I," "West Side Story," "The Mystery of Edwin Drood," "The 1940's Radio Hour," "Footloose," and "Thoroughly Modern Millie."  He has been in well over 50 shows in Texas, New Mexico and Washington and has had lead roles in over 20 productions.
