Andrea Gonzales"CSTOCK Acting Lessons"
Acting lessons for children and adults. $50 per lesson.
Taught by Andrea Gonzales. Andrea is an associate Member of the Society of Directors and Choreographers, the professional union for Directors and Choreographers in both the United States and The U.K. She is also the Education Director for CSTOCK, and teaches classes and workshops for children and adults.
Acting lessons at CSTOCK will utilize the Stanislavski and Meisner methods, touching on other methods as determined by the student’s needs. Students will find a method that best suits their personality and style. Concentration, focus, proper speech and voice are emphasized every lesson through scene work, monologues and improvisation. This is an individual program with the possibility of the acting studio’s students coming together to perform one cohesive piece. Experts in the field will be brought in from time to time for personalized instruction in areas like dance, singing, stage combat and accent work. We will also work on the different types of auditions and help the student prepare for any upcoming auditions they may be attending. The actor will learn how the business works, as well as get a chance to perform and have fun!

There is no set amount of lessons per month required, but it is recommended that the student has at least 2-3 lessons per month. There will be no lessons during Central Kitsap’s winter and spring breaks. Summer lesson schedule will be determined on a case by case basis as CSTOCK runs a summer workshop for kids from July through the end of August. All lessons will take place at CSTOCK.
