Kids for Kids Theatre Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers and Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm, and elegance. Originally produced as a television special in 1958 (with Julie Andrews) and again in 1965 (with Lesley Ann Warren), this production boasts as good a score as any that Rodgers and Hammerstein wrote. As adapted for the stage, with great warmth and more than a touch of hilarity, the hearts of children and adults alike still soar when the slipper fits.

Director Greg Williams chose Adrienne Baltz to perform as Cinderella with Josh Kluth as her Prince. The King and Queen is played by Bob Vincent and Kelly Cliber. Hannah Burbank is seen in the role of the Stepmother, with Heather Meagher and Christie Ferguson as the Stepsisters, Portia and Joy. The Fairy Godmother is Sarah McGregor.

This is Director Greg Williams fourth CSTOCK production; he also presented Best Christmas Pageant Ever, The Wizard of Oz, and Into The Woods on the CSTOCK stage. His production crew includes his wife, Cindi, as stage manager, Beth Ann Humphries as costumer, Lara Littlefield as choreographer, and Dale Borer as light designer. The orchestra will be directed by CSTOCK Maestro Bob Olcott with vocals directed by Robert Foreman.

Costs of this production are underwritten by a grant award from the Silverdale Target Store, who has provided major financial support for the children's programs at CSTOCK for the past 4 years. This production opens July 7 and runs through July 30 with Friday and Saturday performances at 8 p.m. and Sunday's performance at 6 p.m. Watch for a coupon special ad in local papers for the performance on Sunday, July 9. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for children 11 and under, and are available at the Kitsap Mall Customer Service Booth.
