Kalen Spees

Kalen is a 2005 graduate from Central Kitsap High School. He will attend Whitworth College planning to triple major in Physics, Math, and Computer Science. He has been involved with community theater since 1998 when he appeared in Oliver! at CSTOCK. However, he prefers to contribute behind the scenes. He has designed lights for nine productions and been a lighting tech. and sound tech. for a number of other shows. This year he played trombone for Fiddler On the Roof. Outside of theater, Kalen played in the CKHS Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Band, being honored with the Music Department Award for 2005. He has been involved with “Odyssey of the Mind” or “Destination Imagination” for ten years, both of which are creative problem solving competitions. Kalen went on a church mission trip to Mexico in 2004.
