Welcome to our two newest members of the Board of Directors!

Dale Borer has been involved with CSTOCK, working in the light booth and more recently designing the lights for productions of Cinderella, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Grease, PIPPIN, and Guys and Dolls, Jr. A career Navy man for 26 years, Dale has spent the last 13 years stationed here in Kitsap County. His wife, Karen, and sons, Chris and Matt, have all worked the lights with him. Dale says he has enjoyed helping out the community by getting involved with CSTOCK. Dale joins the Board to add his unique perspective to CSTOCK decisions and operations, and will be working specifically with our technical equipment. Look for him as he makes his on-stage debut in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

Melanie Spees has been managing box office operations for the past 2 years, but has been around the theatre much longer than that supporting the rest of the family. Husband Gary has been in several CSTOCK productions and will direct the upcoming Meet Me in St. Louis. Daughter Kiran has also performed on stage in several shows and run the spotlight occasionally. Son Kalen has designed lights and run the light booth in addition to appearing on stage. Melanie is also involved with Destination Imagination, a creative problem-solving competition, as coach and building coordinator for Central Kitsap Junior High. She also enjoys sewing quilts and costumes as well as reading, when she can fit it in.
