Jerry came to CSTOCK about 3 years ago, after working over 25 years for the Navy and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in the nuclear field. He decided that from that point on, he was only going to do things that were fun and self-fulfilling. He started his own contracting business as a specialty contractor and has been Sears' garage door opener installation contractor for 4 years now. In the summer, Jerry also works as a Seating Host for the Seattle Mariners, which he has found to be a very enjoyable experience. Go Mariners! He got hooked again with the acting bug after photographing rehearsals of CSTOCK productions of Camelot and Oklahoma for a good friend, and jumped back into acting head-first (after a 30-year hiatus) with CSTOCK's production of Brigadoon. Since then he has performed in six more CSTOCK productions, most recently as Judge Heppenstahl in State Fair. He also appeared as Reverend Samuel Parris in BCT's production of The Crucible and is currently rehearsing with the Bainbridge Performing Arts production of Crazy for You. Additionally, Jerry has done lighting for several shows as well as set construction for several more. His pride and joy was designing and constructing the set for How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (you gotta love them elevators!) and is currently working with Larry Adams on the set design for CTOCK's fall production of Little Shop of Horrors. Jerry would like you to know there are many opportunities to give back to your community here at CSTOCK, and that it's a fantastic place to make new friends. He encourages you to join us on stage or behind the scenes for the time of your life. If it wasn't fun, he wouldn't be here! |
