The CSTOCK Board of Directors witnessed the end of an era at their recent meeting. Three Directors reached Emeritus status, serving their maximum of eight years, and left the Board of Directors. We are so grateful to Kathleen Kershaw, Brandon Myers, and Charles Platten for their years of leadership and service to CSTOCK.
Kathleen has been our dedicated Treasurer for her entire term. Robert Forman will follow in her footsteps, and Kathleen will train him through the remainder of the year.
Charles and Brandon have been instrumental in forwarding CSTOCK's Policy Manual. They have also been instrumental in forwarding our technology and media ability. Charles is the wizard responsible for the wonderful commercials produced for many shows, and much of our official photography. Brandon started as the first Student Representative to the Board of Directors, and has been a strong team member in advancing our Strategic Plan.
We also welcome new Board Member, Valton Herman.

The CSTOCK Board of Directors is pleased to announce the addition of new members.
At the August 10 meeting, Julie Fedorko, was voted in as the newest Student Liaison. She will serve with Jessica Rothwell in a Student Leadership position, and advise the Board of the needs of our incredible youth volunteers.
During the September 14 meeting, the Board voted in two members, Nita Wilson and Robert Forman.
Nita has been involved in CSTOCK since its creation - she even helped name us! Nita brings a wealth of marketing knowledge to the Board. She is also a professional performer. We look forward to the invaluable insight that these experiences will bring to our strategic processes.
Bob has volunteered in community theatre all over Kitsap County since 1999, acting and serving as a music director. Bob has over thirty years of music education experience that will prove inestimable in expanding our educational programs at CSTOCK.

Are you interested in volunteering? We are looking for volunteers to be house managers at our shows. House managers are in charge of the 'front of house', making sure our patrons are properly taken care of, working with the stage manager to keep the show running on time, and assisting with ushering, and the general safety of our audience.
If you are willing to spend a little time training with our staff, be sure to contact Dale Borer at
volunteers@cstock.org, or Rich Jacobson at
rich@cstock.org. You will be given a date during an upcoming performance where you will shadow one of our current house managers and learn all that is involved in satisfying the role.
House managers must be at least 18 years old, friendly, quick on their feet, and able to lift at least 30 lbs. You must know about the CSTOCK season and other events coming up. We ask that our HM's dress appropriately for the evening and remember that 'you' are the face of CSTOCK.
Remember that your volunteer hours count as community service! Forms are available for documentation from any board member, the volunteer coordinator or the artistic director.
Thanks for being a part of CSTOCK!
