About Walter Brown:

Walt began his professional singing career while in high school, performing with the Nevada Opera in the American premiere of Tchaikovsky’s Joan of Arc. Walt studied music and voice at the University of Nevada-Reno and has a background in opera, operetta, and musical theatre. While living in Nevada, he performed for 10 seasons as a member of the Nevada Opera with roles in Pirates of Penzance, the role of the Count in Marriage of Figaro, and the lead role of Gianni in Gianni Schicchi. Walt served as choral director as well as performed in Nevada Repertory Company’s production of Evita. Most recently, Walt has been seen in the role of “Old Deuteronomy” in Bainbridge Performing Arts production of CATS.
