About Maddie Scheutzow:

Maddie is seventeen years old and a junior at Tacoma School of the Arts where she studies vocal music, theatre, and dance. She has been involved in theatre for over eight years and loves every second she spends onstage or backstage. 

Currently Maddie is taking private vocal lessons with Broadway’s Patti Cohenour and dance classes (ballet, jazz, and tap for musical theatre,) at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle.

Maddie's whole life has been filled with musicals and she saw her first live show (Show Boat) at age three. She would walk around her house singing "Can't help Lovin' Dat Man" at the top of her lungs. Maddie didn't even give performing a thought until a flyer for theatre camp came home from school and her mom made her go to it. On the day of casting for camp Maddie requested not to have a speaking or singing role and she was cast as an elephant in The Lion King. Well the next summer Maddie decided to go back to theatre camp and she was cast as Wendy in Peter Pan. From that show on Maddie loved performing and has been jumping at every opportunity she can to be onstage or help behind the scenes.
