Born and raised in San Francisco, played for numerous Bay Area Gospel, Jazz and Blues groups. Attended SF Conservatory of Music and the SF Art Institute. Studied piano with Sir Jules Haywoood and later became a studio bassist with Secret Records. Traveled extensivley with Steven Bailey and the Voices of Glory, The Paramount Singers, Eddie DeCosta Trio, and a host of others. Had the the pleasure of playing with Great Bay Area artists such as Martha Wash, Bennie Henderson, Jon Hendricks, David Hardiman, John Handy, Chante Moore and many others before relocating to the Seattle area in 1989. After doing numerous jazz and blues gigs under the monickers "Stubtoe" and "Ribtip" Tucker, Relocated to the Kitsap pennisula where, I joined the Bainbridge Island Orchestra and the Buz Whiteley Big Band, in which I had the pleasure of playing for, for 13 years before "semi-retiring" to pursue other musical interests. Currently the bassist for the Kitap band "In the Tree" (Prolifix), The Kelly Carpenter Band, "Faux Cats" Jazz Band, and currently working with a Kitsap all star Jazz band project that is yet to be named. This is my 2nd season with CSTOCK.
