Gary has been involved as an actor in theater and film since 1976. Behind the scenes he has directed; stage managed; played percussion; designed and run lights; designed and built sets; designed and created costuming; and choreographed.
Away from theater, Gary has sung in the choir at Central Kitsap Presbyterian Church for over 30 years and directed their English Handbell Choir for ten years. He has played percussion and timpani in the Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra in Texas and the Bremerton Symphony in Washington. Gary is a retired public school teacher, teaching elementary school for 30 years as well as teaching High School math and coaching football. He is also a retired Naval Flight Officer having flown in P-2Vs and P-3s in Vietnam. As a Mission Commander, Gary flew intelligence and surface surveillance missions in the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans. He located and tracked Soviet submarines during the Cold War.
