Synopsis of Show: We are pleased to announce that our annual summer "Kids for Kids" production is a new script written by local author, Sue Pargman. This classic tale from the Arabian Nights legends tells how Scheherazade devises a plan to save the lives of the doomed wives of the King, and in the end transforms the King into a compassionate and understanding man. This story will offer a delightful and colorful array of characters in an Arabian Nights setting we have not used before. Playing the part of Scheherazade is Kristin Eddings, a junior at Klahowya, where she has been active in the drama program. Kristin has also been in CSTOCK productions of Pollyanna, Big River, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Olympic High School graduate Steve Lager, who played Tom Sawyer in Big River, will play King Raynah. The part of Scherezade's sister, Dinny, will be played by Hannah King from Bainbridge Island. Clement, graduate of Olympic High School and one of this year's CSTOCK scholarship winners. The Arabian Nights set was prepared by Jerry Smith, who most recently designed the set for Camelot.
